Twilight Milongas monthly Sunday Event - Bank Hol weekend!27 Aug 2017Hatfield, HertfordshireWe warmly welcome all Argentine Tango dancers to our monthly Sunday Twilight Milonga on Sunday 27th August 2017, which is during the Bank Holiday weekend - held atOnslow St Audrey's School, Old Rectory Drive, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL10 8AB. Large Free on-site car park. No need to book in advance for this Event. Come and join us for a late afternoon/early evening beautiful authentic Argentine Tango Social dancing Event. Just £12, paid on the door includes the whole event - 4 hours of social Argenine Tango, vals & milonga music for dancing. Plus 1 hour Argentine Tango Class beforehand, & help yourself to tea/coffee/chilled water and cake. You may bring your own wine etc or purchase soft drinks. Doors open on Sunday 27th August at 3.45pm, with option of starting with a warm-up "open" Salon Argentine tango class for all (but sorry, no absolute beginners), with teacher Beto Ortiz. We then follow at 5pm with 4 hours of Traditional Argentine Tango music for Social Dancing - Argentine Tango, Vals, Milonga music from the golden era, played in tandas with cortinas - DJ Barry Leadbetter. The Venue has a large Dance Hall with a smooth wooden dance floor, surrounded by plenty of tables and seats. Professional Sound System, mood lighting, circulation fans, lovely ambience, with access to small paved and under-cover quadrant garden. Venue has a large FREE on-site CAR-PARK, and is well located for dancers coming from all directions, easily accessible off the M1, A1001 and M25 - ideal for those coming out of London or from surrounding Counties. These monthly Twilight Milongas attract a great gathering of dancers from all points of the compass!
