Milonga, Practica & Workshop @The Magic Roundabout25 Oct 2014Tidenham ChaseThe Magic Roundabout returns for the Autumn season with a new venue, a workshop for beginners, and a practica.DATE Saturday 25th October 2014. Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/wvc2f SCHEDULE Workshop 4-6pm £12 Practica 6-7pm Free Milonga 7-11pm £8 WORKSHOP The 2 hour workshop is designed to show the basic elements of social tango, embracing your partner, and walking with the music. Those who can already dance, please encourage a friend to take their first steps. Teacher Bärbel Rücker has danced tango for 17 years and taught it for 15. Her approach is clear and direct.Book in advance to guarantee a place. For bookings or questions please email events@magicroundabout.eu. PRACTICA After the lesson there will be a one hour practica. MILONGA The informal milonga will have traditional music and cortinas, in TTVTTM format. Tango tandas in 4s, vals and milonga in 3s. DJ Paul Strudwick. Free tea and coffee.
