Swango!13 Jul 2025Penryn and FalmouthCornwall's first (probably) fusion event! A mash-up of Argentine tango, swing, and blues classes with a party in the evening.There are three taster workshops introducing dancers to the basics of each style - giving everybody some moves with which to take to the dance floor in the evening. The third class of the day (blues fusion) will explain the similarities in terms of techniques and aesthetics with swing and tango, and how you can use what you already know to dance the blues. Part of the focus of this event is on role-switching, so expect to be doing some leading and some following throughout. So partner is necessary to attend the classes :) NB: The classes will take place in Penryn, the evening event is in Falmouth.
